Here is a quick list of some "Need-To-Know" issues that are of utmost importance leading into Nov 4, 2008.
One of the most important issues should be the right to life. While there are those who believe that no one should be a "single-issue" voter, after all there certainly are many important issues facing this nation, please remember that this country was founded on a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is therefore certain that without a "first things" protection of life, nothing else is going to matter. When an unborn child can lose her life at the hands of the mother's "choice", that child is a human being denied not only her life, but also her liberty and pursuit of happiness.

- Obama on marriage: As your President, I will use the bully pulpit to urge states to treat same-sex couples with full equality in their family and adoption laws. ...I support the complete repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) – a position I have held since before arriving in the U.S. Senate. That should be a major concern for all voters with a traditional view of marriage. Read on: PDF document of Obama on marriage.
